The trays are made out of Jesmonite. Jesmonite is an eco-friendly material, very strong and durable. Jesmonite is similar to concrete but it has a much smoother texture. The trays are sealed with an waterproof sealer. However that doesn't make it 100% waterproof and is NOT dishwasher or microwave safe.
Cleaning: use a damp cloth and let it air dry or dry it with a dry soft cloth.
Comes with rubber feet to protect your surfaces. Please note that these are handmade and made on order, therefore some imperfections (small air bubbles, variation in colour) might occur (especially on the terrazzo design) due to the nature of the material.
